The Great Wedding Gown Hunt

So, I decided it's about time to get my wedding dress sorted out. I went on my first expedition by myself to several bridal gown shops and realized this is not something you want to do on your own. For one, it's a very strange experience to suddenly be trying on huge, elaborate gowns, especially with no one to ooh and ahh about you, trying to make you feel better. Once I wised up I took Maggie, an outspoken American friend, and, against all wedding protocol, my fiance. Kuang's first impression seeing me in a gown: laughter. After a few gowns that I wasn't quite convinced about, Kuang pointed one out that he thought I should try. Turned out it was not only what I had wanted, but it looked nice on too. It is a simple, A-line strapless dress with an organza overlay, similar to this picture: What can I say, he's got good taste- he did choose me afterall!
